A man ends up buying a new car in SC with a $2 lottery ticket. ‘Couldn’t believe it’
A South Carolina man is planning to buy a new car after a surprise lottery win. “I spent $2 on a scratch-off.”
According to a news release, a man from the Upstate bought a Ca$h Flow ticket at a store in Greer on Oct. 13 . He earned the top prize of $30,000.
The man told lottery officials that he likes to play the lottery and would stop by the store once he won a new car.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, the odds of winning the Ca$h Flow game are 1 in 600,000.
A bonus of $300 was given to the store that sold the winning ticket. About 10 miles northeast of Greenville is the town of Greer.
