A man ignores a mysterious call and later learns he won $100,000 from the Michigan Lottery.
WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) – A man from Washtenaw County won $100,000 in the Michigan lottery.
A 56-year-old man, who chose to remain anonymous, said he scans non-winning Diamond Riches tickets into the lottery app to enter players into drawings for other prizes. He was selected in the random Aug. 31 drawing.
He says he got a call from a stranger and didn’t answer it, but later that night, he got a message from the Lottery saying that he had won $100,000.
He says, After seeing that picture, He remembered the phone call and the message that was left.
He got a message telling him he had won.
“I don’t know if I got an hour of sleep that night, I was very excited that I had won. He said that he called the Lottery to schedule his appointment to claim the prize.” he said.
