Mega Millions drawing? Winning numbers, live results (9/30/22)
The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $355 million, with a cash option valued at $183.6 million.
The winning numbers were: 16, 26, 37, 40 and 51. The Mega Ball drawn was 6 with a Megaplier of 4X.
No one across the country hit Tuesday’s $325 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets sold.
In New Jersey, 25 tickets matched four numbers. One was bought with the Megaplier option for an extra $1 and is worth $1,500. The other 24 are valued at $500 apiece.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 8, 14, 24, 43 and 51. The Mega Ball drawn was 9 with a Megaplier of 3X.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $322 million with a cash option of $170.8 million.
