The housing lottery was launched on 91-09 Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, Queens

There is an affordable housing lottery for 91-09 Roosevelt Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Jackson Heights, Queens. 150 residences and 100 parking spaces can be found in the structure, which was designed by Gerald Caliendo Architects. 27 units are available on NYC Housing Connect for residents with 130 percent of the area median income, ranging from $48,000 to $187,330.

A garage with assigned parking spaces, an on-site resident manager, outdoor terrace, rooftop terrace, media room, recreation room, community center, virtual doorman, package locker, bike storage lockers, and shared laundry room are all included. The units come with name-brand kitchen appliances, air conditioning, hardwood floors and smart controls for heating and cooling. The tenant is responsible for the electricity in the house.

There are six studios with a monthly rent of $1,400 for incomes ranging from $48,000 to $138,840; 15 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,700 for incomes ranging from $58,289 to $156,130; and six two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,300 for incomes ranging from $78,858 to $187,330.

To apply for these apartments, prospective renters need to meet certain income and household size requirements. December 9, 2022, is the deadline for applications to be postmarked or submitted online.
