There is a lucky auto mechanic who won $100,000 in Virginia Lottery scratcher
Zarco doesn’t play a lot of Virginia Lottery scratcher games, but he does win a lot of money when he does.
According to a release from the Virginia Lottery, Zarco, who works as an auto mechanic, won $100,000 after scratching a winning Crossword Connect 5X ticket.
Zarco said that he didn’t believe it when he heard about his big win. He told lottery officials that he wouldn’t have any immediate plans for the money except to pay the bills.
The chance of winning the top prize is 1 in 1,224,000, while the chance of winning any prize is 1 in 3.83.
In the last fiscal year, Prince William County received more than $60 million in Virginia lottery funds. 10% of the commonwealth’s K-12 school budget was raised by the Virginia Lottery.
