Two winning Powerball tickets were sold in Westchester.
There were three lucky third-prize winners in NY from the recent lottery drawing, two of them in New Rochelle and White Plains.
Two winners in New Rochelle and White Plains are each $50,000 richer, but they might not know it yet.
Three tickets worth $50,000 were sold by the New York Lottery for the October 10, Powerball drawing. Four of the winning tickets have the same Powerball number.
There was one ticket for sale at the Shop-Rite. There was another ticket sold at the New Rochelle market. The White Plains is located in White Plains. Third ticket sold at a Tops Market in Baldwinsville.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 3-6-11-17-22 and a Powerball of 11. One year from the date of the drawing, the winner can claim their prize.
The winning numbers for the lottery game were drawn from a field of one to 69. There is a field of one to 26 with the red Power Ball drawn from it.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11 p.m., the Powerball drawing is televised. For an extra $1, players can add Powerplay, which can increase the prize by up to 10x.
There is an estimated $420 million in the drawing to be held on Wednesday.
