He was ranked the 15th most successful real estate broker in New York by “The Real Deal” magazine in 2012 after he shifted his focus to real estate.

Ryan Matthew Serhant was born in Houston, Texas, on July 2, 1984.
Serhant attended the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, while he was a student at the Pingree School.
After graduating from Hamilton College in 2006 with degrees in theatre and English literature, he became a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
After the collapse of the mortgage industry in 2008, Serhant started his career in real estate and only earned $9,000 in his first year of work.
Ryan opened a real estate firm in the fall of 2020 called SERHANT, and the firm’s big sales include a $33 million Miami penthouse and a $69 million home on NYC’s Madison Avenue.
